Fukui Hito-Mono Design Co., Ltd. was established in July 2022 as a wholly owned subsidiary of The Fukui Bank, Ltd. Our mission is to enhance and connect the remarkable cultural heritage, history, and traditional industries of Fukui, and to share their unique value with audiences in Japan and around the world.

The extension of the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Fukui and Tsuruga in the spring of 2024, along with ongoing improvements to the Chubu Jukan Expressway, is expected to bring a significant increase in visitors to the region. With these developments, Fukui is entering a new era—one filled with opportunity and potential.

With our deep understanding of the region, we see it as our mission to make the most of this major opportunity for Fukui. By promoting local specialties and cultural attractions, developing regional products, and supporting the expansion of distribution channels, we aim to fulfill our role as a regional trading company and contribute to the sustainable growth of Fukui’s economy.
